Custom Care Manager/Owner

Kira worked as a Development Coordinator for a national real estate development company for six years before joining Sonoran Gardens. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Cardinal Stritch University and is known for her strong work ethic and dedication. Her experience managing consultants and complex schedules enables her to evaluate situations and deliver effective outcomes.

At Sonoran Gardens, Kira served as Operations Manager for two years, overseeing company operations, improving systems, and supporting the Custom Care Division. As the division expanded, she shifted her focus entirely to its growth and development.

Now serving as Custom Care Manager, Kira oversees landscape and potted garden maintenance crews, ensuring high-quality service for clients. She collaborates closely with both teams and clients to address concerns and maintain standards. Her role centers on planning, problem-solving, and consistently exceeding customer expectations.

Sven Gunn, a professional member of the Association of Professional Landscape Designers (APLD), is an award winning landscape designer creating unique residential landscapes since 1998. Sven received his BS from the University of Arizona in Interior Design. After many successful years creating exciting interiors, he shifted his focus. Now, in his 15th year, he is creating new and exciting outdoor living spaces. Sven has earned several awards from the Arizona Landscape Contractors Association (ALCA) as well as voted Most Creative Landscape Professional in 2007 by Tucson Home and Garden magazine. A philanthropist at heart, he enjoys donating his time to benefit such organizations as The Boys and Girls Club of Tucson, Tucson Botanical Gardens, and the Tucson Zoological Society.

Sven continues his passion to create unique landscapes emphasizing water conservation, use of native plants and provide lasting value and pleasure for the homeowner..

Allen Denomy, founder of Denomy Designs, is a Tucson native with over a decade of experience in landscape design and construction. He holds a degree in Fine Arts and Environmental Science from the University of Arizona and has collaborated with organizations such as Tucson Watershed Management Group and ADEQ.

An award-winning designer, Allen blends artistic creativity with sustainable practices to craft unique, functional outdoor environments. His approach emphasizes innovation, holistic design, and the long-term interaction between natural elements and built spaces.

Denomy Designs has earned recognition from publications and organizations including Phoenix Home & Garden, Tucson Home & Garden, Luxury Pools + Outdoor Living, Zócalo Magazine, AZ Daily Star, ICPI, ALCA, and SAHBA.
